ABOUT ME
How It Began...
At Age 16 Taline started working for her cousin at their family-owned jewelry store. After she graduated from high school, she was accepted into University of Michigan but decided that jewelry was her passion. After working over 35 years for other fine retail jewelry stores, she acquired the knowledge and experience that she now brings to the high-end jewelry world.
In the midst of the pandemic in 2020 after becoming unemployed, she decided to take a leap of faith and make the American Dream come true.
How It's Going...
November 20th, 2020, Taline's Fine Jewelry opens its door to the public as her own fine retail jewelry store. Despite the pandemic, business took off with the support of the community, other small businesses, and with all the connections she had gained with wholesale vendors. Unfortunately, there was a mild setback when her Ex-employer filed an injunction against Taline & her jewelry store; this led to closing her business down for 3 months. But through her faith she stayed strong and endured the closure.
On June 15th, 2021, she reopened her doors and once again business took off. In early February of 2022, Taline's daughter, Narine, decided to leave the medical field to join her mother in running the business while continuing her education to become a Gemologist.
As their business grows, they intend to give back to the community by hosting events & contributing to fundraisers.
